  • About

WILDD’s mission is to unleash the gifts of individuals with dyslexia so they may achieve the full potential they deserve, and of which they are capable. We do this through identification, remediation, therapy, support, outreach, community education, and advocacy.

Reading is an essential skill set needed to thrive in our society. WILDD creates learning and living independence that allows individuals with dyslexia/SLD to achieve success and compete with their peers in school, higher education, the workforce, and their community.

WILDD was founded in 2005 by Erv Carpenter and Kim Campbell-Carpenter to help adults and children overcome the reading, spelling, and math deficits associated with dyslexia and specific learning disabilities.

It is because of Erv and Kim’s first-hand experiences with dyslexia, helping their own children cope with dyslexia, and decades of teaching expertise that they have achieved such great success with their program.
