A third generation printer from Green Bay, WI, Jim Moran has been the Director of the Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum for the past three and a half years. Among his many roles, he has developed letterpress printing workshops which have drawn students from across the country and serves as archivist for the museum's collection of over 1.5 million pieces of type and decorative blocks. An avid speaker on typography at conferences, Jim manages the annual Wayzgoose Conference (Hamilton, WI) which features type experts from around the globe.
