From 9 - 11 a.m. on May 10, Bank of Sun Prairie will host a paper-shredding event to help the community recycle unwanted documents. Community members may bring up to five boxes, or three 13-gallon plastic bags or fifty pounds of papers to be shredded and recycled by Pellitteri Waste Systems. Papers shredded at the event will be bailed and shipped to a paper factory in Wisconsin that will repurpose the materials into other products. There is no need to remove staples, paper clips or rubber bands from paper materials; however, credit cards, three-ring binders, CDs, tapes or floppy disks cannot be included. Coffee and donuts will be served.
