Event Description:
Bloomsday is a celebration of James Joyce's masterpiece novel, Ulysses, to benefit the work of the Wisconsin Council of the Blind & Visually Impaired on behalf of Wisconsin residents who face vision challenges.  In keeping with the theme, the evening includes Irish music by Alan Ng, refreshments, a raffle and staged readings from Ulysses by Madison notables, including author Margaret George, Wisconsin Public Radio's Norman Gilliland, Barry Levenson of Mustard Museum fame, and former Madison Mayor Dave Cieslewicz.  Cash bar.
