Event Description:

Loop the Lake is an annual bike ride around Lake Monona to highlight our community's lakeshore bike paths and to support the Clean Lakes Alliance's (CLA) lake improvement and protection efforts. The ride occurs the morning of the Clean Lakes Festival and finishes at the festival grounds at Law Park where riders will receive a free beverage (beer [21+ years old] or soda) and sandwich.

The course is approximately 12 miles long. Riders will travel clockwise around the lake for a ride that will take recreational cyclists approximately one hour and 15 minutes to complete. The bike course will remain open until 2:00 p.m. Current sponsors as of 5/28/14: American Transmission Company, Plastic Ingenuity and Spectrum Brands.

Location:
Law Park (410 S. Blair Street Madison, WI 53703). Parking is located at the Monona Terrace Ramp.
