Ever have a conversation turn awkward, or felt like you weren't getting your point across no matter how hard you tried? During every conversation, there’s a neurochemical cocktail that’s influencing you and the person you're talking to. This session, lead by Jacy Imilkowski, introduces Conversational Intelligence® (C-IQ ®), a framework for better understanding what triggers these neurochemical responses in ourselves and others. When we understand the responses to different kinds of conversation, we can then mindfully choose how we want to engage with friends, family, and colleagues, and recover more gracefully from unintentional impacts. Leave with the ability to break down why some conversations are successful while others disconnect, recognize your own conversational strengths and challenges, and harness the power of conversation in pursuit of goal and dreams!
