Learn the basic reclined, seated, kneeling, and standing yoga postures including modifications to suit your unique body. Each class will include bodypositive meditation, pranayama (breathing exercises), low-intensity asana (yoga postures), and a relaxing savasana (rest).
Curvy Yoga is bodypositive yoga for people of all shapes and sizes. It is designed to help bigger bodied people feel comfortable practicing yoga. This workshop is not focused on losing weight or how you should look.
PLEASE NOTE: Many yoga postures take place on the floor, either seated or being on hands and knees. Participants should be comfortable getting up and down from the floor.
