Healthy Living Summit 2011

The Healthy Living Summit is an exciting collaboration supported by your peers and colleagues. We would like you to join us in hosting this exciting event. As a host you will have the opportunity to fully participate in the planning and delivery of this one day healthy living event.

OBJECTIVE:
The summit will bring together health care providers, social service providers, educators and community leaders as partners to focus our community on healthy living programs and services as a means to improve the health of children and families in Dane County.

OUTCOMES:
• The Healthy Living Summit will provide a forum to share information and highlight and celebrate • • best practices around healthy living initiatives in Dane County.
• The Healthy Living Summit will create the opportunity for collaborating with leaders from multiple • • organizations to unify efforts, share resources, reduce duplication and learn from each other.
• The Healthy Living Summit will facilitate the collective discussion of how to effectively influence • • • public policy and use community strategies to improve the health of our community.
