The most recent Gallup survey of over 500,000 employees nationwide shows that just 29% are engaged.
These are the folks who will come in on the weekend, delight the customer, take an extra shift, volunteer for a team assignment, take responsibility outside their job description for getting the job done right, and maybe most importantly act as advocates for the enterprise in their larger communities.
