Learn the principles of inverting in your practice!
During this member's-only event, Stephen will teach the foundational poses to build the strength and flexibility you need to go upside down on your mat.
You'll explore the anatomy and alignment of "inversion-asana", as well as fire up the core muscles that are elemental to headstands and handstands. Time will be devoted to the proper ways to rise up and come down safely and you'll receive tips and tricks for how to practice these poses in class and at home.
Intermediate inversions are rarely cued in detail during class because of their unique nature. This workshop is a space for you to dive in head first (literally!) to explore the world of yoga from a new perspective.
Students with an established practice of six months or more are encouraged to attend! This event is open to current BFY Members. Please pre-register as space is limited!
