Jason Cohen, UW-Madison alum and Academy Award nominated filmmaker, will be screening his film, 'Facing Fear,' at UW Hillel on Tuesday, November 18 at 7 PM. The screening will be followed by a conversation with Jason and the two subjects of the film: Matthew Boger and Tim Zaal. A reception will follow. 'Facing Fear', directed by Jason Cohen, was nominated for the Academy Award 2013 Best Documentary Short Subject.
It shares the story of Matthew Boger, who was attacked by a group of Neo-Nazi skinheads when he was living on the streets of Los Angeles 25 years ago. Boger once again meets Tim Zaal, who participated in the attack, and they embark on a journey of forgiveness and reconciliation.
