DECA District Career Development Conference

Join local business and marketing professionals as a judge for the DECA district competition!

Volunteer judges assist in the professional growth of high school business and marketing students by conducting mock interviews of the students and critiquing their ability to develop and present ideas of different professional scenarios. The scenarios are clearly prepared for you including the criteria for grading and the questions to ask.

Agenda:

8:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.: Judges check-in with coffee and sweet rolls available

9:05 a.m. Welcome and introduction/orientation of volunteer judges

10:00 a.m. (approximately): Begin mock interviews:

[Events finish at different times ranging from 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.]

11:15 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.: Catered lunch available exclusively for the judges in the LMC
