Catholic Charities Adult Day Center Open House

We will be holding an Open House during National Adult Day Services Week on Thursday, September 19, 2013 from 7:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. Immediately following the Open House, Dr. Kim Petersen will give a free presentation on the topic of understanding different types of dementia from 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. We are so pleased to have Dr. Petersen as our guest. Dr. Petersen is a geriatrician and dementia specialist who has been the Director of a Memory Diagnostic Center in Madison, Wisconsin, and also:

• served as a Certified Medical Director for assisted living and long term care for 35 years

• been a past president of the Wisconsin Medical Directors Association

• is a founding board member of the Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Institute

• serves on the Alzheimer’s and Dementia Alliance of Wisconsin’s Board of Directors

• is a member of the Dane County, Wisconsin, Dementia Support Team

• helped 16 communities across the country establish Memory Diagnostic Centers
