Students are expected to have a basic understanding of AutoCAD and be familiar with Microsoft Windows. In this class students will build on the knowledge they already have of AutoCAD, while discussing and demonstrating the process of creating three-dimensional models. Students will learn how to customize the software to suit their needs and design methods, while incorporating AutoCAD in their design process using graphic standards. This intermediate course will cover converting 2D information to 3D, primitives, solids, surfaces, editing and manipulation. Students will be prepared to learn advance topics, such as rendering, materials, and lighting at the end of this course
