Attend a free kick-off event on Tuesday, July 23 from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. at Old Chicago Pizza and Tap Room, 7202 Mineral Point Road, Madison, to learn more about the Alzheimer’s & Dementia Alliance’s 15th Annual Dane County Alzheimer’s Walk. Hear words of inspiration from past participants and learn tips on fundraising and come away with an understanding of the difference a local Alzheimer’s organization makes.
Teams are now forming for the Dane County Alzheimer’s Walk to benefit the local programs and services offered through the Alzheimer’s and Dementia Alliance of Wisconsin (ADAW). Anyone interested in forming a team or learning more about this year’s walk is invited to attend the kick off. Participate as an individual or as part of a family or corporate team. No minimum donation is required but individuals who donate $50 or more receive an official Alzheimer’s Walk 2013 t-shirt.
Alzheimer’s Walks are the primary fund-raising event for the ADAW. This year’s Alzheimer’s Walk will take place at Warner Park on Saturday, September 28. It is one of seven walks taking place this fall to support ADAW.
