The Wisconsin Book Festival is hosting a virtual author event on September 20 at 7 p.m. featuring Ntozake Shange’s Sing A Black Girl's Song with Black scholars and activists Tarana Burke (foreword) and Imani Perry (editor). Sing A Black Girl's Song is a posthumous collection of Shange’s unpublished poems, essays and plays from throughout the life of the seminal Black feminist writer.
